Season two, episode two, quick and dirty

Okay honestly my memory of last night's episode is a bit sub-par, mainly because we had people over and the only way some of them agreed to watch was if we devised some sort of drinking game to go along with it. We settled on drinking every time there was a gratuitous boob shot; every time someone gave someone else a dirty look; and finally, in the coup de grace that kept us drinking all night long and is ultimately responsible for the fuzziness of my The OC memories this morning, every time there was some instantiation of bad acting, which basically meant that we drank every time Marissa said anything whatsoever.

From what I do remember, Marissa and Ryan are back together but wait now they're not because it turns out she's been hooking up with DJ the lawn guy all summer long; Summer is dating Seth lite, who likes comic books and is on the water polo team; Caleb is arrested; and Ryan's guidance counselor decides that he needs to be promoted to AP Calc and AP Physics immediately. I'm going to have to save my extended rant on AP tests for another time. Check back soon.
